National Prayer Day!

Today is National Prayer Day!

Prayer is so powerful. I love the scripture in the Book of Daniel 10:10-14 AMPC where Daniel prayed after a vision he had that disturbed him, so he got on his knees and prayed. The Angel said to Him, and I am paraphrasing, “Daniel, beloved man of God, as soon as you prayed, I was sent, but demons surrounded you. So I had to call for backup; the Celestial Angel Michael to help me. It took them 21 days to remove all the evil spirits so they could talk to Daniel and comfort him about the vision he had.

10 Then behold, a hand touched me and set me unsteadily on my hands and knees. 11 So he said to me, “O Daniel, you highly regarded and greatly beloved man, understand the words that I am about to say to you and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” And while he was saying this word to me, I stood up trembling. 12 Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was standing in opposition to me for twenty-one days. Then, behold, Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision is in regard to the days yet to come.”

When we pray God hears us and immediately Angels are sent to comfort us! Pray is important to receive help and guidance. Don’t ever discount the power of prayer.

Daily prayer brings many blessings. Our world is in need of prayer and blessings! I pray God blesses you and your household with peace, love, and deliverance from anything that is hindering you from receiving God’s love!

Every "New Year" brings new things, but we must transform our minds and hearts to let go of the old and embrace the new. Once a door is closed in the spirit, it cannot be opened, yet we hold on to the past that keeps our minds trapped to something that is debilitating rather than enlightening. A Lost Service?

There are so many things lacking in our lives today and the only thing that is going to fill that void is serving Yahweh and serving others. Volunteering and serving others and Yahweh (which he called himself [a servant]) breaks that spirit of selfishness, self gratification, and self destruction. Teens volunteering which builds character and great leaders Scripture reads in Proverbs 16:27 Ethiopian Bible: 27 An ungodly man digs up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. Which translates a ungodly man looks for trouble and manipulates others to do unlawful acts. Many have heard this verse as, “Idle hands is the devil’s workshop.” Hands represent honest work in the Bible, or doing what is right in the eyes of Yahweh and man. The Bible also speaks of unclean hands that do bad things or are works of the devil.
