Ethiopia, strong, powerful, and enduring could not be captured by no man on Earth because their faith and trust were too deep to allow evil men to overtake what God had commanded them to protect until His return, which is the Ark of the Covenant. The language , religion (Christianity), and culture has not been influenced at all or changed by Western Society.  The Ark of the Covenant is located in Aksum, Ethiopia, specifically within the Chapel of the Tablet near the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion. It is only three chapters, and I am paraphrasing, but it speaks of deep oppression among the Jews being in captivity and cruelly treated by wicked countries.  Habakkuk is a prophet of God and by having a strong relationship with God, he knows those who are doing the harm will eventually suffer cruel treatment themselves.
