I was born and raised in a small Indiana town of approximately thirty-thousand people. I moved away close to 12 years ago, and have returned to live with my parents temporarily. The neighborhood was predominantly African/American citizens with strong Christian values, they truly loved you, encouraged you, and stood by you whether you were their child or not! Many of those who established my foundation are with God now; however, their morals and values are alive and well in those who had the privilege of experiencing Christ in them! It is disheartening to see that even though this town is predominantly white, it still separates and divides in most of the churches.
