Don't Dim the Light!

There are many people in our world that do not know what really pleases God and what will get them into Heaven.

It is what we do unto others and how we treat others is what pleases God. (Luke 6:31) If we show partiality to the rich and oppress the poor, if we show partiality to a certain race, or show partiality to a child, or neglect our family over work; or as a teacher, neglect those who are struggling in a subject, or as a coach neglect the ones who want to play verses the ones who know how to play, your heart is not in the “right” place.

We can dim the light in people, a child, a friend, or a spouse by our words and actions - and it’s ONLY because our hearts are not pruned yet per say. Which means we can break their spirit and cause them to regress instead of progress. Especially those who say they are Christians instead of allowing their actions to show it.

If many who are reading this, do not know God’s character, or spend time with Him by reading the Bible, you can easily fall prey to Satan's lies that coax you into thinking your actions are approved and acceptable by God.

James 2:1-8 AMP

Light cannot be put out by darkness

My fellow believers, do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of partiality [toward people—show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery]. For if a man comes into your meeting place wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in dirty clothes also comes in, and you pay special attention to the one who wears the fine clothes, and say to him, “You sit here in this good seat,” and you tell the poor man, “You stand over there, or sit down [on the floor] by my footstool,” have you not discriminated among yourselves, and become judges with wrong motives? Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and [as believers to be] heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? But you [in contrast] have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress and exploit you, and personally drag you into the courts of law? Do they not blaspheme the precious name [of Christ] by which you are called?

If, however, you are [really] fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, if you have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit]” you are doing well.

There is always hope and plenty of room for change and growth. However, change comes from knowing Jesus Christ and allowing Him in your heart.

I pray that those who are reading this turn your hearts and mind towards God and let Him change  you from glory to glory - if you have not already done so. Your life will NEVER be the same and you will have more peace and joy then ever before!
